Roy Murray began singing and playing
music at a very young age. With the help of his Father and
Older Brother, who are both respected musicians, he learned
how to play several instruments. He studied the guitar, the
piano, and most notably, the drums. At age 19, he was
singing and playing the drums professionally with his
Father's successful Irish band, The Mulligans. He has
performed with many professional musicians, but most
notably, he helped form Suncatcher, an alternative rock
band, which released its debut studio album in 1995. Now,
for the first time in his musical career, Roy will take over
the Lead Vocal spot while maintaining his position behind
the drum kit. He brings over 10 years of professional
experience to the band and also provides additional
orchestration through the art of programming and sequencing.
Carl Macchia began playing guitar in
high school in a garage band in Long Island, NY, and the
garage was as far as it went. He then went on to the
University of Massachusetts, where he studied music theory
and played with a number of great cover bands on the bar and
fraternity circuit. That really was a great time and it
allowed him to develop into quite a competent electric and
acoustic player. After college, he went back to New York and
continued to play in cover bands and further develop his
skills. Along the way he developed a love for bass guitar
and harmony vocals and did a bit of that as well. In NYC, he
played on some unreleased studio work, but then it was on to
Southern California. His story continues on....
Robert Ulloa is somewhat new to the
"cover band" scene. Having grown up locally in Los Angeles,
he has been influenced by all genres of music. Robert
started out playing guitar for a local garage band before
trying his hand at the bass, as well as the drums. His
skills as a bass player have developed over the past few
years, as he has become more proficient performing in front
of large audiences throughout Southern California. Being the
youngest member of the band, Robert brings a new and young
perspective to the band in addition to the energy that he
puts forth at each performance. |
